Discover the sights, smells and secrets of Chinatown on our Eat like a Local in Chinatown London tours for London Food Month with KS_Ate_Here.

June is London Food Month, a wonderful celebration of the Capital’s diverse and delicious culinary culture. Conceived by the Evening Standard, the four-week foodie extravaganza will feature a night market in Kensington and over 400 events with special appearances from super chefs and much more.

Being the hub of all things Asian – and given the significant role the area has played in shaping London’s palate – it’s only natural Chinatown will be participating. In collaboration with super-influencer @ks_ate_here, we will be hosting a series of guided, Eat like a Local in Chinatown London tours. The tours will give you an insider take on Chinatown London, opening your senses to a world of new ingredients and flavours. You’ll visit different restaurants tasting dishes that are popular with both locals and tourists, learn about Chinatown’s colourful history and how it came to be the bustling mini-metropolis of Chinese and Asian culture it is today.

Tours will run on 17th June 2017 starting at 2pm and 5pm and last two and half hours. Tickets are £10 and available to purchase on Event Brite.

We are also giving away a free ticket via an Instagram competition! To enter, simply repost one of our Instagram posts with a caption explaining why you would love to visit Chinatown, followed by #chinatownlondon. You must also follow our @chinatownlondon Instagram account to enter.

When he’s not working as a City financier, blogger, Kar-Shing Tong, otherwise known as @ks_ate_here can be spotted snapping his favourite foods across London. His colourful, mouth-watering Instagram snaps have earned him tens of thousands of followers and what his lens hasn’t shot isn’t worth eating.

Unfortunately, we will not be able to cater for dietary requirements, and there will be a 48-hour cancellation policy.
