Butifarra (Rupert Street) | Peruvian
Peruvian street food has landed in Chinatown in the shape of Rupert Street’s Butifarra. Taking its name from the traditional mercado snack of a slow-cooked meat and salsa, served in a bread roll, the colourfully decorated, quick-eats restaurant brings a carnival of Latin American flavours to London.
Amongst the plentiful, eponymous butifarras, diners can expect a few curveballs by way of their ceviche and sushi mash-up, Cevushi. If you’d prefer sticking to the classics, traditional fresh, lime-infused ceviche is available too.
Working with family-run Peruvian supplier, Andes Export, Butifarra go to every step to ensure they use only the most authentic ingredients.
Make no mistake, Butifarra comes with a pedigree – celeb-haunt The Chiltern Firehouse’s Niall Davidson was brought on as consultant chef, so expect A-list-approved, innovative cuisine.
