Delicious pre-theatre menus to try this West End Live

Hovarda restaurant

Sing! Dance! Eat!

West End Live is fast approaching. A two-day extravaganza where theatreland’s most beloved shows and musicals take to Trafalgar Square for a spot of al fresco fun. Taking place from 16-17 June 2018, West End Live is the ultimate family day out where you can sing along to your favourite show tunes together, while basking in the warm London sunshine. Best of all, West End Live is free, folks.

West End theatre

Kids will love seeing numbers from Matilda, Madagascar – A Musical Adventure, and this year’s hottest ticket in town Disney’s Aladdin. You can also expect modern-day musical masterpieces like Kinky Boots and Mamma Mia!, along with timeless classics such as Phantom of the Opera.

When you’ve all sung ‘til your heart’s content, refuel a mere five-minute walk away. West End Live is just a hop skip and jump from Chinatown – simply head up Charing Cross road and enter at Newport Court. There you can choose from foods from all over East Asia and beyond, like Italy, Spain or, even, Israel.

If you are enticed to watch the full production of a musical (which you will be), be sure to have a bite before hand and order from the pre-theatre menus on offer Monday – Friday from some of our favourite picks in town….
