The Blue Posts
The Blue Posts offers not one, but three floors of drinking and dining fun – and best of all, it’s open until 12am on Friday and Saturday. If you’re looking for a late-night pub feel then The Blue Posts ground floor is where it’s at, for craft beer on tap and bar snacks including homemade sausage rolls and fried fish sandwiches. Upstairs is The Mulwray for late-night drinks in a velvet vintage cocktail snug. The Blue Posts is also open until 11.30pm every Monday – Thursday.

Plum Valley Restaurant in Chinatown London is known for taking traditional Cantonese cuisine and adding a modern flair – set within an interior that has been dubbed Chinatown London’s answer to Hakkasan. What many don’t know is that from Monday to Sunday it has four karaoke rooms which can be booked out until 12am; so you can discover your inner popstar. The song list is up to date and the team will bring buffet dishes and ice cold buckets of wine and beer to your room, providing all the trappings of the perfect late night out.

Chinatown London bars open until 1am
Hovarda is best known for bringing the Aegean sea to Chinatown London, with a fanfare of deep-sea dishes and Greek-Turkish flavours. But once the firepit has cooled, it turns into one of the best late night bars in town. From 10pm until 1.30am daily, you’ll get a glimpse of London’s most eclectic music scene from Hovarda’s DJs. The bar does get extremely busy, so speak to the reservations team before arriving.

Chinatown London bars open until 2am
You may know Ichibuns for its drool-worthy Japanese wagyu burgers. But have you been to the cocktail bar upstairs? It serves everything from elderflower mojitos to pop-top cocktails, and you can share Geisha cocktails full of Finlandia Vodka until 2am on Friday and Saturday nights. The perfect post-burger place to top up your glass in an Instagram-worthy interior.

The Light Lounge
The Light Lounge may be open until 3am each Saturday, but it actually has everything you need to go from an early evening soiree to late night debauchery. From an interior dripping in chandeliers and pops of colour, to the extensive cocktail list and the bartender’s ability to create pretty much anything you want, it’s one of Chinatown London’s most universal drinking spots. For special occasions, The Light Lounge also offer a huge menu of prestige spirits and Ruinart champagnes.

Experimental Cocktail Club
The ECC, as it’s known by regulars, offers you three-floors of outstanding drinks (fancy but not fussy) and a lively atmosphere that’s great for everything from groups of friends to date nights. The lights are down low, with a speakeasy type feel, which makes it easy to go from 6pm to 3am, which is when the bar closes every Monday – Saturday.

Another multi-floor late night spot in Chinatown London is Opium – a cocktail lounge and dim sum parlour which stays open until 3am every Thursday – Saturday, and even opens until 12am on a Sunday. Through a haze of incense you can explore multiple rooms for dim sum, dancing and drinking. The signature cocktails are not to be missed, but you can also choose champagne, a wide range of spirits, or even a delicious tea infusion if that’s more your bag.

One of Chinatown London’s lesser known late night haunts is Royal Dragon. The chic interior offers themed cocktails in low lighting and a huge menu of food, from hot pots to curries and traditional Chinese dishes. Best of all, from Monday – Sunday Royal Dragon is open until 3am and there are private karaoke rooms available every night; so you and your friends can holler away to all of your favourite hits in decadent privacy.
